Learn Even and Odd Numbers

  • Even numbers are numbers which have a partner.
  • Odd numbers are numbers which does not have a partner.
  • Even numbers can be paired up exactly.
  • Odd numbers cannot be paired up exactly.
  • Even numbers always ends with 0, 2, 4, 6 or 8.
  • Odd numbers always ends with 1, 3, 5, 7 or 9.
  • 1 is an odd number because it does not have a partner.
  • However 2 is an even number because 2 has a partner.
  • When we come to 3, one pair of 2 partner can be made but the third one is by itself (and does not have a partner), so 3 is an odd number.
