ℯ-Day (Euler's Number)ℯ-Day is on 7th February of every year.ℯ-day gets its name from the exponential constant denoted by the symbol ℯ. Its value is approximately 2.718. e is an irrational number which is mostly used in logarithms, exponential growth, complex numbers. This is also known as Euler’s Number named after the Swiss mathematician Leonhard Euler. The reason it is observed on this day is the first two digits of the constant ℯ is 2.7 (ℯ=2.7182818....). • the first digit (2) of the constant makes up the month February (2) and • the next digit (7) of the constant makes up the day (7). ∴ 7-Feb is observed as ℯ-Day.
